
The TALOS project has launched its first Open Call, inviting startups and SMEs to develop robotics and AI solutions that address key challenges in photovoltaic (PV) plant operations. With up to €200,000 in funding available for startups and €140,000 for SMEs, this Open Call provides a unique opportunity for innovators to bring their cutting-edge technologies to life in real-world PV applications.
Areas of Focus:
TALOS is seeking solutions for three main PV scenarios:
- Land-based PV: Automating inspections, vegetation management, and operational tasks.
- Floating PV: Technologies for underwater inspections and maintenance robots for floating solar systems.
- AgriPV: Combining solar energy with agriculture, focusing on automated monitoring and maintenance systems.
What You’ll Gain:
Selected companies will receive funding and participate in a 9-month support program, which offers technical guidance, testing opportunities, and exposure within the PV industry. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of solar energy production.
